Our Complex

Valley Homestead is sited on a 12 hectare hillside which overlooks our swimming pool and tennis courts, and the rich agricultural diversity of the Ovens Valley. In the background is the rugged north face of Mount Buffalo National Park. The front two hectares where the main building and accommodation are located, are a delightful combination of lawns and gardens. The remaining 10 hectares of natural bush provide a host of wonderful surprises, both natural and man made.

The exciting array of Personal Challenge and Team Building Activities that we have developed over the years are wonderfully located within 13 hectacres of natural Australian bush, surrounded by State Forest on two sides and a chestnut grove on another.

Whilst Groups (of all sizes and shapes) are our primary focus we have several self contained units which are ideal for family or a couple who wish to enjoy our environs, our solar heated pool, spa pools, tennis courts, or who wish to cycle the excellent Murray to Mountains Rail Trail.

The complex is divided into several areas.

• The main building with its reception and office area, it's dining room, entertainment lounge, bar, kitchen and TV areas.
• The accommodation, situated on an upper level, and connected to the main building by covered steps and walkway include 26 bedrooms with en-suites and a separate communal lounge. Click here for resort map

Additional facilities include

• Undercover alighting area, large enough to accommodate a double decker coach.
• Meeting rooms of different sizes cater for conferences.
• Drying room for ski and bush walking gear.
• Self contained units.

And that's not all, 250 metres away, surrounded by magnificent natural bush, is the Bush Centre. Here you will find a large under cover campfire area, an open kitchen with BBQ and the Bush Conference room. This area won the prestigious Best Small Commercial Project in the HIA architectural awards. Surrounding the Bush Centre we have ropes and initiative courses, reflector and orienteering trails and an abseiling and climbing tower.
