Hiking and Back Packing
Valley Homestead has tents and packs for up to 50 guests at a time. Overnight camp outs are available, involving cooking dinner and breakfast and either a short walk to an "onsite" camp area or a more challenging 5 km walk to our river camp site; followed up the next day with a morning ridge hike back to Valley Homestead of approximately 7km. The camper has only to provide his/her own sleeping bag and personal effects. This activity is usually supervised and led by the group's leaders, however Valley Homestead hiking and leadership staff are also available.
